In 2016, Yannick Pazze decided to expand his French nonprofit promoting the lowbrow arts movement into a full-service commercial firm in New York. His firm, Sacrebleu, now provides indoor and outdoor murals, packaging and advertising, and interior design to companies who want to boost their image and relevance by using lowbrow and street art.
Through the Sacrebleu subsidiary, Eclore-Idee, Pazze helps start-ups and small businesses expand and grow their activities by providing them with contact lists and business sources.
Sacrebleu LLC is divided into two branches:
- Artistic advertising and promoting by producing indoor and outdoor hand-painted walls for commercial or promotional events (http://sacrebleu-galerie.com/). Sacrebleu LLC is an art agency mainly focusing on contemporary arts, including the lowbrow movement, urban and street art.
- Assisting start-ups and small businesses to expand and grow their activities, by providing strong new customer contacts. This service is provided through Eclore-Idee, a registered trademark which has become a subsidiary of Sacrebleu LLC in 2017 (http://eclore-idee.com/)
Going from a nonprofit organization to a commercial agency in New York has presented a range of administrative challenges. Pazze felt lost, but his SCORE mentor, Alvin Roselin, helped him clarify his thinking and manage his tasks.
'As a new business owner in town, I was looking to build new connections in New York City. As a French man, I was looking for more information and tricks about having a business in the U.S. and in New York in particular. As a new project manager, I was hoping to get a fresh look at my business by experts!'
